The wisent bull with its herd may be seen in the dunes near the village of Bloemendaal at the norrthsea coast in the Netherland. In this painting I have emphasized the enormous power of this formidable animal. While I like to use bright colours here I have used a beautifull brown for the animal with bright contrasting colours for the dunes and the sky.
